16 Point Contact Moving Assembly Pre-selector Cog 5D/1234 Bomber RAF Vintage WW2.
One of the discs from a 16-point bomb release preselector unit as used on World War 2 bomber aircraft such as the Avro Lancaster, Handley Page Halifax and Shorts Stirling. These were used to sequence the bomb release as to not unbalance the aircraft on a bombing run. The last two photos show examples of this and are not included items. This is a spare for such units, produced in 1949.
New old stock. Although unused these have been in storage for many years so may show some minor surface oxidation. You will receive an item in unopened original wax dipped packing. Sold untested for display only and "as is".
Great item for display or as part of a steampunk / aviation themed project.
Always willing to combine postage. International enquires welcomed, ask for postage quotes.
