Flashing Light Beacon 0581 6210-99-923-6908 Red/Blue/Green ex-MOD Royal Navy 1985.
These flashing units have a light sensor so only come on in low light conditions. They also only work when in the near or fully upright position. They are ex-Royal Navy and extremely well sealed so likely used in conjunction with floats on the water. They come with a red, blue and green sleeve to fit over the bulb. The beacons require 12V which is supplied from 8 D cell batteries (not included) in the pole but can also be supplied from a properly configured power pack/supply etc. There is a loop on the bottom of the pole that was originally used for attaching a chain and anchor
New old stock from 1985. Although unused these have been in storage for many years so show some minor surface oxidation. The glue holding the top reflector in place has perished on some units but can be easily re-glued. These are in unopened original packing but as these have been in storage for many years there is a chance the packaging has been breached leading to excessive corrosion. We will always work with customers in these rare circumstances but if you would like the beacon opened and inspected before dispatch please advise in the order notes. Sold untested for display only and "as is".
