Motorised Selector & Follow-Up Resistor 5CZ/5623 Handley Page Victor XA924 RAF FLT/A/2 Teddington Controls Ltd

Removed from Handley Page Victor XA924 in 1962. XA924 was one of the last Victor 1s produced and originally fitted with the ‘Yellow Aster’ radar at Radlett before being deployed to RAF Wyton, where they were attached to 543 Squadron as the Radar Reconnaissance Flight. These aircraft were usually fitted with air filters to detect high altitude nuclear readings in an effort to detect Soviet nuclear explosions.

The photograph of a Victor is XA924 showing off its photo reconnaissance equipment.

Used non-functioning condition and has been in loose storage since removal so is showing extensive corrosion all over. Makes a nice aged patina! Sold untested for display only and "as is".

Great item for display or as part of a steampunk / aviation themed project.

Always willing to combine postage. International enquires welcomed, ask for postage quotes.
